His painting method involves dripping paint onto canvas instead of using a brush and painting strokes with his feet while hanging from a rope. His work exhibits an incomparable feeling of power and speed and stands as one of the monumental landmarks in the history of Japanese avant-garde art.
hey guys,
so I got a message from a guy who runs a website called misterdressup.com and he asked if they could take one of my artworks and use it on a t-shirt. I would get a part of the profits and I would still have the copyright of my works. It seems legit, but I’m not sure. Does anyone else know anything about this website or have had their design up there?

For the morning folk, I made a piece I actually kinda like!
It sucks that I like something like this that I made in like five or six hours a lot more than the things I slave 20+ hours on.“Weary of Wolves.”

Tammy Rae Carland: Lesbian Beds
Carland’s series of large format photographs, Lesbian Beds, depicts bed sheets recently vacated. Shot from directly above, the images offer lavish views of private spaces. Seizing onto viewers’ voyeuristic impulses, Carland invites them to look, but denies them the opportunity to study the figures to whom the sheets belong, turning rumpled covers into anthropomorphic stand-ins. By withholding a direct view of the subjects themselves, Carland creates portraits that enable empathic projection but elude fixity.
Celestial map art by Ed Fairburn
Fairborn on his project:
The charts are divided by many concentric circles starting from the centre – in keeping with this, the portraits have been formed by pencilling many concentric circles, placed and layered to suggest line and tone. On closer view, the smaller details blend with each labelled star shown on the maps.

My piece for the upcoming Message in a Bottle exhibit at the Light Grey Art Lab, opening January 25th in Minneapolis! Looks like it’s going to be a killer show. I would talk about the piece some more, but the whole point of this show is SECRETS on top of SECRETS
